Turoc India is a fashion export house based out of Delhi-NCR and is the novel face of a legacy that goes back to 1976. With its industrial foundation being laid by Mr. Surinder Kumar Datta and supported by Mrs. Arun Datta, the company operates under supervision & guidance of Ms. Tina Datta Bhayana & Sagar Datta. Having over 40 years of experience in the field of textiles and garment manufacturing, we are pleased to introduce ourselves as an established entity with its product portfolio comprising of ready to wear basic & high fashion garments for women & kids in woven and knits category along with accessories and home décor.

Born in 1947, Mr. Datta began his career by first working with his relatives in a clothing store as a sales executive to sell readymade garments and home furnishing fabrics. He then fleeted abroad to work in Germany and Canada as a struggling young employee in 1970’s. Thereafter, he returned to India and eventually worked with his sister and started his journey as a garment exporter by 1976. Starting as a marketing head and travelling across the world to capture export markets, he later looked into finance and eventually became a director, partner and founder of his firms throughout his legacy of four decades.
Hailing from Udaipur and having an MA in Fine Arts, she began her career by working as an assistant designer for her husband’s firm in 1978 before which she did various freelance jobs as an artist and designer at small scale. In 1980’s she took onus of being a home-maker but continued to guide her children and husband as an artist and strategist for all business and design decisions along with being a co-founder of Turoc India.
Graduating as a fashion design student from NIFT, New Delhi in 1998 along with being a business management student from Delhi University, she started her career with a capsule collection for menswear under her label, ‘Aura’. Soon after, she joined her father’s business in 1999 and worked as an assistant fashion designer and merchandiser. Thereafter, she worked with various international fashion houses and designers from France, UK, USA and South America to train herself and become the head of merchandising along with being a partner in her firm over her span of 25 years and continues to work as a fashion entrepreneur.
Completing his graduation in BJMC from Amity University, Noida, he did PGDMM from NMIMS, MBA from Liverpool John Moores business school and PGDID from Applied academy of arts, New Delhi. He began his career as a public relations executive and later became a freelance interior stylist, an author and a family business entrepreneurship trainee. After being recognised for his works by leading media houses online and offline along with several awards, he finally joined his family business in 2023. Continuing to flair from various fields like public relations, writing and design, he now works as a creative entrepreneur.
Mr. S.K. Datta began his career of garment exports with executing an order of menswear shirts for a German fashion designer and buyer.
Worked as Director in his company, ‘Miracle exports’ and captured brands in Denmark and Netherlands along with Germany by fetching orders from individual boutique customers and brands like Karstadt
Mr. S.K. Datta formed partnership with his sister and worked under a new export company called ‘Fashion Ethics’ and tapped more European customers.
Mr. S.K. Datta formed a new alliance with his nephew and sister under the name, ‘Fashion Hits’ and took over the finance division of the company. The company tapped markets in France, UK and its first South American account by the name of Johnson cencosud Chile.
Ms. Tina Datta Bhayana began her career under this company after completing her graduation and worked as an assistant designer and merchandiser for all the leading brands that were catered by the firm.
The company worked with brands like Topeyed (South America), Intraport (UK), Nafnaf (France), Indospanish (buying house), Flyers (UK), Tedbodin (Uruguay), Walmart (Brazil) and Tanzara (USA).
Mr. S.K. Datta formed a new company and shifted from his New Delhi factory to Noida, Uttar Pradesh and began operating as partner under his new firm, ‘Fashion Fiesta’ with his children.
The company shifted its focus from being in basic fashion towards high fashion by working with brands that dealt with handcrafted and embellished garments and accessories
The company expanded itself in South American markets by catering to brands from Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Europe like Ona Saez, KSK, Umbrale, La Polar, Falabella, Ver and Wados.
The company raised to a new standard of high quality deliverance, timely performance, intricate styling under the supervision of Mr. Datta and Mrs. Bhayana.
Fashion fiesta’ was joined by Mr. Sagar Datta who introduced a new division of ‘imitation jewellery’ as product category and began his first collection with Ripley and later catered to small boutique and fashion designers as well. He also designed and sold his first capsule collection for Humana (Chile).
Mr. Sagar Datta and Mrs. Tina Datta Bhayana began their independent firm, ‘Turoc India’ under Mr. Datta’s guidance and began catering to domestic clients and international independent designers for fashion , home decor and accessories.
Mr. Datta re-established his factory infrastructure by replacing machineries and making other civil-cosmetic changes under the guidance and execution of Mr. Sagar Datta to be registered as a compliant factory with Sedex
Turoc India started exporting textiles abroad along with doing home decor & accessories shipments in Singapore, South America and India for its boutique clients.
Turoc India was facilitated with various awards in India for its performance and to be recognised as an ‘Emerging Impex firm’
Turoc India expanded its vision of growth by focusing on its ‘home decor and accessories’ division apart from garments. The company continues to participate in fairs worldwide and deals in apparels, accessories and home decor for its international and domestic clients.
Turoc India starts its own domestic label catering to apparels, home décor and accessories merchandise along with interior design & occult art consultancy besides continuing its existing export import business operations.
